1. It is better to remain single than to marry a bad wife/a bad husband. A happy single life is better than a sad married life.
2. In most cases, change takes place during courtship and not in marriage. If your partner can not change during courtship, do not expect any magic in marriage. In most cases, a bad
character in courtship is worst in marriage.
3. A bad marriage is like hell on earth. Never you manage to marry somebody.
4. It is better to be single and wish to get married than to be married and wish to be single. God forbid.
5. Marry an imperfect person who is willing to work on his/her imperfection. This is the only type of person you can be patient with and also tolerate;
not a person who does not take correction and therefore, not willing to change.
6. The biggest regret on earth is to regret why you married someone.

12. A woman of substance won't ask of what you have when you propose to her, but will ask of where you are going. This is because she has something in her to offer, something that will help her partner fulfill his purpose and destiny. She will ask of what you don't have. She is too rich to only come and take. Any woman asking of what you have before accepting you, have nothing to offer. She is only coming to take and take till nothing is left. The bible made it clear " The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the LORD." Proverbs 18:22
A wife comes with treasure but a woman comes with nothing. Every wife is a woman not every woman is a wife.

This is one of the reasons why divorce happen in marriages, because partners claim to be what they are not. Remember there is no fear in love. So share your past and present with your partner to be. Share those things you know will be a big problem if found within marriage. If they truly love you what you tell them won't make them go, but it will strengthen the bond and the relationship. True love is known when the Ugly side is unveiled, and he/she looks you into your eyes and say " All this makes up my love for you".
